  Service was lacking in the spa. My 50 minute massage was 45 minutes including change time and my pedicure was rushed I was finished 15 minutes before my friends and I will have to go for another one as she barely scrubbed my feet. Dinner was great and the waitress during dinner was amazing which saved the experience for me. Overall skip the spa go use the pools and go to dinner. But done expect great customer service from the staff in general.

  We've been coming back here every year for the last 8 years as a winter tradition. The network of hiking trails is beautifully maintained and situated. The crofts have their own woodturning fireplaces and are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant looks out over the falls and has one of the best menus we've experienced. The service is faultless. Even when we forgot a sweater it was mailed back to us. When the restaurant was full they fixed it within 20 minutes and found us a seating. Worth every penny for a reliable weekend of luxury, outdoors, food, and comfort.

  Manor house was nice. However, the lack of any off hours food service is bad. You can walk 10 minutes to a spa and hope their restaurant is open. Seems to close around 5pm. Headwaters food is good. Service was not good this stay. We have been there a few times. This was our last. The wait to get acknowledged at Headwaters was 20 minutes? This is with a reservation and absolutely no where to stand or sit. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. It is very cramped and embarrassing to be huddled near guests eating with all of our kids and family. The main waitress was pretentious, unprofessional, eves dropping on our conversation, then commenting to us? She was also making inappropriate comments to members of our family. Really??? We just wanted our $600 family dinner to be quiet and professionally served. Found a few hairs in my meal also. Seems like a theme based on previous reviews here. So, this visit was a big miss for us. At these prices , with a lack of basic amenities and weak service, will not be returning. There are plenty of places that are much better equipped, especially at prices we paid.

  Been there twice. Same room with a VERY private hot tub. Very clean. First rate. Pools are outstanding - hot and cold. Food at Headwaters was good. Service was was attentive. Never had a complaint. I'll be back.

  We stayed here overnight for our anniversary. Our room was good, the staff even left us a bottle of wine and card for our celebration! The restaurant was amazing and the service was unbeatable! The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I found the room rate expensive for what you get. The hot springs/hot springs were nothing special (and we were so very excited for them). The room was good but still expensive. But overall no complaints other than the price.
